rhys roberts - project manager

Rhys joined Jones Bros in 2007 on an apprenticeship after doing work experience here while completing his A levels. After graduating from the Civil Engineering Training Scheme he has built up significant experience while working on a number of renewable energy projects. In 2015 Rhys completed his registration as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) with the Institution of Civil Engineering (ICE).

“Jones Bros has given me plenty of opportunities to build up my skills and experience. I am responsible for a number of duties on site, including the design and assessment of site tracks and helping with controlling plant across site. I really enjoy my job, and love putting site plans into place so that you can see visible progress on the project as the weeks pass by.”

LISA TUDOR – PRE-CONTRACT MANAGER

After completing a degree in mathematics, statistics and operational research at Cardiff University, Lisa began her career with Jones Bros in the role of Trainee Quantity Surveyor.

“I considered all of my options after finishing my university course and decided to apply for a traineeship at Jones Bros and have gained lots of experience since then. People sometimes think quantity surveyors simply count bricks but there is so much more to it, with elements of the law, finance and planning with lots of opportunities for career development.”

After working on different projects and gaining further experience, she went on to achieve both an MSc in Quantity Surveying from Salford University and chartered status qualification with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). These days, Lisa is our Pre-Contract Manager and is responsible for heading up the Commercial / Estimating team.
